February is the month for hearts and flowers, right? Such a perfect excuse to start a Flower Challenge for The Sims 4 Gallery. Participating in easy. Load up The Sims 4 Create-A-Sim tool and make a Sim that is inspired by a type of flower.
Kicking off the Flower Challenge, I created Iris Flora. As the name would suggest, she was inspired by by an iris flower. I wanted Iris to carry a sophisticated but sassy vibe. You know, the kind of gal that both attracts and slightly scares you?
Wanting to stick with the theme, I made everything from her waist up, apart from her skin, either purple or black. The super cute blunt bangs cut comes from Discover University. I think it goes a long way to bringing her just that sassy vibe I wanted. Even her eyes are purple. Normally, I wouldn’t give non-occult characters unusually colored eyes but, in this case, they felt like a perfect fit.
Thinking it helped keep the flower feeling going, I put Iris in the skinny green skirt from Vintage Glamour. In my mind, it balanced with the purple to make it look like her top half was the blooming flower and the bottom as the green stem. Did it work? You be the judge but I’m pretty happy with how she turned out.

The Sims 4 Gallery Flower Challenge are really straight forward.
- Create a Sim, young adult or older, who is inspired by a flower.
- No CC
- Use #FlowerChallenge & #Sims4Sarah hashtags when posting to The Sims 4 Gallery.
- Post your entry by March 1st.
- Enter as many times as you want but make sure its your own original creation.
